Appointment

Katsina, Jan. 6, 2026 (NAN) Gov Dikko Radda of Katsina State has approved the appointment of the Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Katsina Council, Mr Tukur Hassan-Dan Ali, as a Permanent Secretary in the state civil service.
The Head of Civil Service of the state, Malam Falalu Bawale, disclosed this in a statement issued by the Head of Communication in his office, Abubakar Yaro-Bindawa, on Tuesday in Katsina.
Yaro-Bindawa said that Hassan-Dan Ali, from Danmusa local government, was appointed alongside Junaidu Muntari from Kankara and Yahaya Abdullahi from Safana local government areas of the state.
He said that the appointments were based on merit as the appointees passed a merit-based examination conducted by the Public Service Institute of Nigeria on behalf of the state government.
The Head of Service, therefore, urged the appointees to serve with diligence, professionalism and in the best interest of the service of the state government.(NAN) www.nannews.ng
