APC promotes justice, unity, progress—-Matawalle

Gusau, Dec.12, 2025 (NAN) The Minister of State for Defence, Dr Bello Matawalle says the All Progressives Congress (APC) promote justice, unity and progress.
In a statement issued in Gusau on Friday, the State APC Publicity Secretary, Malam Yusuf Idris, said Matawalle stated this while receiving former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman, Kaura Namoda Local Government Area, Sadiq Chiroma, who recently defected to the APC.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Chiroma defected from the PDP to the APC recently.
According to Idris, Matawalle further said that APC is a party that gives priority to the welfare of its members , just as it promotes justice, unity and progress to all party members across board.
Idris said Matawalle formally received Chiroma into the Zamfara APC family.
“Matawalle said that APC needs people like Ciroma who play politics with vision and positive thinking that can assess political leaders and come up with a clear decision to remove Zamfara people from slavery and bad governance.
“The minister assured him that APC will give them equal opportunities, with an enabling environment like any other member of the party,” Idris added.
Earlier, in a remark during the event, the State APC Chairman, Alhaji Tukur Danfulani, said the state APC leadership presented Chiroma to the minister as he had resigned from PDP recently.
“We find it necessary to present him to you to welcome him along with his supporters into the big family of APC in Zamfara and Nigeria at large,”Danfulani added.(NAN)(www.nannews.ng).
