BIPC takes delivery of 166 retailers’ chillers.

Makurdi, Jan 5, 2026 (NAN) The Benue Investment and Property Company Limited (BIPC) has taken delivery of 166 chillers for onwards distribution to retailers of Zeva Premium Beer, You Bitters and other beverages produced by Food Basket Brewery.
The Group Managing Director (GMD) of BIPC, Dr Raymond Asemakaha, said that the delivery marks another milestone in the company’s ongoing expansion drive, which is aimed at boosting efficiency and growing market demands.
Asemakaha further said it would also reduce supply gaps in the production chain.
The GMD announced that the BIPC was also expecting 14 additional containers with similar equipment and materials that would arrive in the coming weeks.
He said that the arrival of the containers was a clear dedication of Governor Hyacinth Alia’s commitment to scaling up production and ensuring that products were available in the market.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the containers, which arrived in the state over the weekend, comprise industrial chiller fridges and large quantities of glass bottles, which are to be used at the brewery. (NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
