Ibadan, Dec. 18, 2025 (NAN) A Grade A Customary Court at Mapo Ibadan, has dissolved the four-year-old marriage between one Kausara Moradeyo and her husband Abdulsemih, on grounds of hot temperament and lack of care.

“The customary and Islamic marriage between Kausara and Abdulsemih has ceased to be henceforth.

“The petitioner is granted custody of the children because they are still in their tender ages and would require the care, companionship and protection of their mother.
“Also, the respondent is restrained from threatening and interfering with the private life of the petitioner henceforth,” the court held.
Earlier, the petitioner who is a trader, had told the court that she had resolved to discontinue her marriage with the respondent, as he had never given her peace of mind since she moved in with him.
She had claimed that his nonchalant attitude towards her and the children, was terrible.
“I have no peace of mind staying under the same roof with him,” she said
The petitioner had consequently, prayed the court to order the respondent to pay a monthly feeding allowance of N20,000 for the children’s sustenance, adding that he earned N30,000 as monthly salary.
