Sango-Ota (Ogun), Jan.1, 2026(NAN) A Professor of Economics, Evans Osabuohien, has advised the Federal Government to intensify efforts to further tackle the security challenges in 2026.
Osabuohien, the Head of Economics Department, Covenant University, Ota, gave the advice while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Ota.
According to the don, the advice had become necessary in order to gain investors’ confidence.
“I see a great future for Nigeria in 2026, if the federal government can intensify more efforts to further tackled security problems in the country.
“There’ll be restoration of confidence in the economy if the security challenges ravaging the nation can be reduce to the barest level, thus boosting investment, employment and productivity, “he said
Osabuohien noted that there would be renewed prospects and measurable progress in the education sector. (NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
