Soludo, the Founder of Healthy Living Initiative, made the assertion in a statement in Awka on Wednesday to mark the 2025 International Human Rights Day.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the day is annually commemorated around the globe

on Dec. 10. to bring to the fore, issues surrounding rights violations and the need to respect human rights and dignity.
The UN proclaimed the day in 1948 to necessitate equal fundamental privileges for every individual in the society without any gender-based, racial, ethnical discrimination.
The global observance day has “Human Rights, Our Everyday Essentials” as its theme for the 2025 edition.
It highlights the need to protect rights such as access to clean water, education, healthcare and freedom of expression.
The Anambra governor’s wife, therefore, said “every individual deserves the right to live in safety, succeed and thrive without fear or intimidation.”
She added that understanding and protecting human rights were essential to making society stronger, noting that peaceful coexistence depended largely on how people treated one another.
According to her, differences in race, background, gender and beliefs should serve as source of unity, rather than division.
She explained that “no one deserves to live in a society governed by fear, alienation and extremism.
“Everyone, regardless of cultural, political or religious differences, is entitled to full human dignity and fairness, and such rights are non-negotiable.”(NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
